Yes, it kicks much arse.

The term "necroposting" was invented by a person with no social memory beyond a year. People with a similar hangup are those o.k. with the internet being transient vapor.

RD, I hate to tell ya, but your video card is probably the problem. WW2 Fighters does not like GeForce. I had terrible graphics problems with mine. On my new machine, I have an ATI 9600XT Radeon card. Runs WW2F like a charm. I've recently reinstalled it back into the old machine for my stepson. No go, same old problems.
There are supposed to be some fixes for it. Go to WW2Fighters.org. The fix is there. It didn't help me, but it is supposed to have helped a lot people. I'd give serious thought to getting a 128mb ATI card if you have a decent pc. You won't believe what WW2F looks like with all the mods and the res set way up high! Still one of the best looking sims ever made.

the website kicks @ss...thank you for that...as for the graphics issue, i did find out that if you use older driver versions, it works fine. currently the one that works best for me is NVidias 45.23v driver. no mess ups...i wish NVidia would figure out how to create a good solid driver...

Sadly, yes. Just reinstalled WWII after a long Geforce period on my ati machine and.... absolutely fantastic. No blue tearing, all fonts can be read, all screens clear and readable. And what a great sim it still is. Only TIR must be added.

GeForce MX cards were a big problem. I changed to a Ti4600 card and all the flashing polygons on the horizon went away.

I meant the sim kicks, not the site, though that's pretty good, too. Is it just me, or is there zero multiplayer going on for this title.
