It appears that simply stepping down the res from 1600 to 1024 solves most of the problem.

Also running some clouds seems to help just replaced my terrain with the CFS 2 terrain seemed to help as well.

Found all my manuals last night and am looking forward to re-playing this great sim!

The new cloud textures seem to have the added benefit of fixing the 'tearing' problem. If you have a fast processor and a lot of RAM, try running at 'Accuracy over Speed' option in the Museum lobby Options menu; I've found this to help some also.

I usually run at 16-bit instead of 32-bit because it makes true colors for screenshots, but it also helps offset the extra performance load of 'Accuracy over Speed' option.
