Just so I don't get flooded with 'MEGA spotting' e-mails, he dropped me a line.

He's on top of the news here, but hasn't been able to post. Somebody already has his handle, it seems ...

The King Tiger is coming along. We'll find a way to get it out to you when it is ready.

Very nice. Thanks.

One oddity, though - is that a hatch I see part way along the main gun barrel?

why yes, that is the "barrel emergency escape hatch." This device was only utilized on the larger diameter gun bores....

OK, so I'm not finished mapping yet. This is only one of the mapping issues that need to be cleaned up. I'll map the barrel after the new six sided one is finished. It is turning out to be a real refreshed in geometry!

One of the real annoyances of J3D files (and there are many...) is that I have yet to figure out a way to cut and paste parts from other files into them without wrecking them.

If there's something I want, I just have to copy it in vertex by vertex in the editor.

A real drag sometimes.

Those Huns were truly fiendishly ingenious! Hard to believe they could lose with such brilliant ideas. ;-)

Looking forward to the final mod.; good luck and thanks again.
