As a long time EAW fanatic I have only recently turned my attention to WWII Fighters and am having a lot of fun with it. The mods and skins available are similiar in scope to EAW. If you tried WWII Fighters in the past and have now dismissed it without taking a look at the mods and flight models now available, it might be worth a second look.

I just bought WWII fighters and I m very pleased with the look of the planes. They look so real !!!
I am a long time EAW-addicted simmer but the poor planes shapes in comparison with WW2 let me quite unsatisfied.
I tried BOB, no patch ...no comment.
I tried CFS2, great graphics but I m not "hooked" ( not sure about the translation ).
I tried Air Warriors ( beurk , even the very last version ), Fighter Ace I , Figther Ace II, Warbirds, HighAces, ... well

I still have to try FS-SDOE ( said to be so real in the flight models and damages management ) and of course ... IL-2.

vinde: you may not realize it, but the translation is perfect! Not only did you get the general translation right, but the fact that CFS2 incorporates carrier landings made your usage of the term "hooked" doubly appropriate. Nothing, I mean nothing I have ever encountered in any flight sim gets my palms sweating like a CFS2 carrier landing.
