As you know from reading SimHQ's interview with Jamie Carlson, Dangerous Waters will allow us to team up on the same ship. We've asked for this and talked about this for a long time. How do you see it playing out in practice?

I see it like this as a possible scenario:
8 players, two each assigned to two frigates (4 players total), one to the helo, and three to an opposing sub.

In many missions, the frigates would be conducting a barrier search, guarding a task force. The sub would seek to penetrate the barrier and sink the capital ships (or disrupt shore support, sink a convoy, etc).

The three guys on the sub...which stations would make the most sense to man? Certainly one guy would take sonar, I assume that one would take the conn,...

Can't wait to try this out in real time smile

I think, before we go ballooning, we need to know what is possible and what not.
But the idea is great. cool

I'm really looking forward to trying out the multi-station feature. There will be times in which i want a crewmate to help me out with TMA while I sit in sonar or vice-versa... maybe even a third to take care of the helm and fire-control presets.
I can imagine individual crews being created in all the virtual fleets, with specialists in each watchstation or group of watchstations... rating badges... the whole bit. I'm hoping it'll be a very useful feature. Many's the time i've wished for a partner when there's a high-density tactical environment... for me, the AI just doesn't cut it as a crewmate biggrin

CO is responsible for whatever happens on his ship... if'n i'm the skipper, i'll take it. Otherwise i'll quote the sage words of the immortal Krusty the Clown...

"Don't blame me, I DIDN'T DO IT!"
