BHD was one of the first pc games i bought and loved it from start to finish. Then went and got Team sabre and i agree, well worth getting if the like BHD. I also it still stands up well against most of the newer stuff. An excellent game.

It's not the blood and guts (there isn't any really), it's not the challenge (the AI are dumb), it just feels good! I only wish there were more chopper missions, it's a blast shooting out of a Blackhawk. Cheers Mr B

I dont know why this happend but, some of the games that I have enjoyed the most are "dead games" that nobody talk about. Im talking about Black Hawk Down, Men of valor, Medal of Honor Pacific Assault, Vietcong. I think they were all very good games especially MOH Pacific Assault, one of the best FPS I have had.

I also enjoyed MOHPA. The switch from health packs to a medic was a good one. Far better than CoD2's "sit for a few seconds and feel better" crap. It didn't have quite the impact on me that MOHAA did when I played it the first time, but it was a better game overall. The problem was it was overshadowed at that point by CoD and people were thinking (after CoD, its addon, and MOHAA and 2 addons) "oh, another WWII FPS". Anyone who can find a bargain copy of MOHPA I recommend it heartily, assuming you like non-tactical FPS games. The Jedi Master

Medal of Honor AA and Operation Flashpoint were my first FPS, before that I was a flight simmer, so I remember thinking: First person shooter? what is that? so I bought then and Wow!. Anyway I just remember MoHAA and OF because they were the first, just like your first girlfriend, so is sentimental. I use to buy only historic, military FPS but a few days ago I bought Half Life 2 and Wow again!

A game I liked that never caught on was Deadly Dozen 2. It was a WW2 Pacific Theater FPS. I thought the gameplay was solid and the lush jungle graphics were pretty good and provided a lot of cover.
But the multiplayer portion of the game just never caught on for some reason and it died a pretty quick death.
