I've never seen this for sale in the UK and don't really want to pay the monthly subscription for the downloaded
version, but I've found a US copy for sale on Ebay, I'm guessing that the total cost including P&P to the UK would
be around 15.

Would you say it's worth getting? I really enjoyed the "Deadly Dozen" series and this game is based on the same
N-Fusion engine (not sure if it's by the same developers), similarly it has drivable vehicles, commandable squads etc.

The auction has around 2 days left, so I'd like to know before then if possible smile

Alternatively - if there's anyone here who's tried the downloaded version - do you need a subscription to play the game, even offline? From the game's website (www.kumagames.com) I got the impression that the download version expires after 30 days if you don't keep up your subscription, and can't even be played in single-player mode. The boxed version does NOT have this issue. Am I correct?

No. Avoid this game like the plague. It's awful. Stick with Line of Sight, Elite Warriors, or any iteration of the Deadly Dozen series, but do not waste your hard-earned cash on this title.

Thanks for the info.

I'll download the free trial anyway, just to see for myself, but you've probably saved
me from wasting 15!

I read about 5 reviews from major PC magazines and websites and they were all very negative and gave it very low scores.
