I know this is a shot in the dark to be asking about a 4 year old sim that apparently wasn't very good to begin with, but I picked this up in a bargain bin for nostalgic reasons and would like to get things working.

I can't get the game to recognize my stick and throttle (X45) - I've patched with 2.1 and the "registry" patch as well, but no workie.

Anyone know the magic words?

Yeah, I think it is a WinXP thing, I have another USB controller that shows up in the game controller list first, and that atually works. So I think WinXP is defaulting to that one for older games. If I play a newer game like LOMAC that actually lets you choose controllers, it works fine.
