#561932 - 07/22/01 11:08 PM Patch progress Steve et al?

Hi all,

On the Operation Flashpoint board we have heard details of the upcoming patch and also an approx ETA for it - any chance of the same here?

I would have _no_problem_ playing Typhoon if the mission delay & lack of on-bore targeting could be fixed. I don't even mind the throttle issue, as the keys provide an easy work-around.

- With typical delays of around 20min or higher, I can start & finish 1-2 SEF2K campaign missions of my choice/design.

- In a target rich environment, I'd rather concentrate on maneauvering against a target than simply trying to target it.

Hi again...

Manteau put this better than I could have, so I'll quote him for those who give up on flame-bait posts :

I'm not asking Rage to do anything like release the source code or anything like that (and to his credit Steve has said he will off his own back open up the campaign - and I think a lot of people here, me included, appreciate that), but they could at least say: yes, we'll have a look and try and fix it.

Please Steve or whoever, let us at least know what you intend to try to fix - I'd like a carrier-ops add-on, but I won't be buying it when I can't play the original.
