Steve, as much a I enjoy Typhoon, there is one thing the really annoys me and that is the wait time between missions at times. So I was wondering, does having your pilots close to the front line, increase the number of missions open to them? I mean, what are chances of the campaign engine assigning me a mission clear across the island when an AI flight is closer. Or does mission assigment not work that way?

It isn't relevant whether your pilot is at the front line or several miles inland.

How do i know? Well i have one pilot left(Duke) and i have waited nearly 3 hours for a mission to be generated!
That's (get this!) with an enemy airfield less than 8 miles from my own(right in the middle of an entirely green zone!), which has constant supply missions/CAPs taking off that i can *see* visualy from it and another red zone which has been there since i pushed them back hmmmm

I have *never* had a mission generated to wipe these damn red Russian owned patch's off of my 82% owned green island
Normaly get CAP's the other side of the island work that out??

Meanwhile the Russian's are sleeping in my bed while i'm away!
