i got TAW last week for $8 and am really enjoying it. I also bought F4 a couple days ago, but the value edition, which didn't come with the manual (it's on the CD.. blech!)

So F4 is basically gathering dust while I have a blast playing TAW's cool campaign. So I'm wondering if Typhoon will have a similar campaign, but with full multiplayer support. That feature alone would deserve my cash !

I don't believe that there will be a multiplayer campaign option; but there will be multiplayer missions.

The campaign in Typhoon should be a lot better than the one in TAW. There will be a ground war element in this time around AND resource management will be included. As much fun as TAW's campaign is..the unlimited planes for both sides does get frustrating. That's not to say you shouldn't enjoy TAW's campaigns till Typhoon comes out.

One suggestion..skip over the first campaign as a newbie; it's actually a lot harder than the the second and third.

There is an option for upto eight player co-operative missions, but not a campaign. Other multiplayer options include King of the Skies, Touch and Go, and Typhoon racing, all with solo or team options.
