And to think there is a rumour that the Government think they are a 'luxury' to be sold off for commercial gain.
If it's true they are utter b*stards.

I was looking forward to the Hurricane IIc arriving at Yeovilton but the weather was prtty poor and unfortunately it couldn't make it. The photos are a nice substitute though, thanks Bader.

If it's true about the BBMF being sold off then I think it's about time the revolution started!!

Words cannot describe!!

Lets just hope that's all it is, rumor. And hope the "bean counters" look elsewhere. Hard to believe that remembering the scarifices of that generation has come down to balancing the books .

Bader- S!
Got any creditable source for this awful rumour?
If it is true we need to lobby some influential /journalistic types!!
That bloody cabinet needs a good talking to and a history lesson as to why they are able to sit there at all and come out with the bloody nonsense they have been doing lately.

Have heard it as well - prob from the same school of thought who want to disband the Red Arrows - nice to know that the country respects its heritage!

The country respects its heritage - it's the Dear Leader and Cool Britannia who loathe it.

Well exactly.

It may have been at Biggin that they were talking about this. I cannot recall. I hope it's all a stupid rumour.
