Found this on the Youtube. One of only five DEs left. This one is up in Albany, NY. There's a series of virtual tours that take you through a brief history of the ship, officer country, the lower decks, the CIC, radio room, and how the weapons worked.

Figured some of you guys might enjoy it https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLWU5URsg64bHfEKyY5uLr0vwDThEwWKP9

I've been aboard WWII CV, BB and DD but never a DE.

I've never been on a WWII-era ship and the last warship I was on was the USS Eisenhower during "Fleet Week" back in 1994!

I've only been in the Balao class sub USS Pampanito in San Francisco, and I've seen a few wrecks wile SCUBA diving. I should really schedule some trips to some of the others.

I forgot about USS Clagamore, a WWII era Balao class sub I've been aboard. She, USS Laffey and USS Yorktown were all together at Charleston SC at the time. USS North Carolina is in Wilmington NC. Have been aboard all 4 multiple times, spent the night aboard Yorktown with Cub Scouts once.
