So far this year I've seen two movies in the theater (Dune part 2 and Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes). I just finished checking the release calendar for the rest of the year and there are 2 more films that I will most likely also see in the theater: Alien Romulus and Gladiator 2.

What movies (if any) have you guys seen in the theater so far this year?

Hi PM.

Like yourself I saw Dune part 2 at the theatre and thoroughly enjoyed it (last one was Oppenheimer) This weekend I will be checking out Furiosa with my son, later in the year I probably will check out Alien Romulus and Gladiator 2 as well.

None. And, None planned.

We wait for the Disk (e.g. DVD) on the very few movies that interest us.

Saw Dune 2 and loved it. Before that it was Oppenheimer, and before that Top Gun 2. Next on my list is Gladiator 2 whenever that comes out. Nothing else interests me enough that I can't wait for it to be released on streaming services to watch at home.

Last movie I saw in a theater was Zootopia in 2016.

I think you win the "longest period without going to the movie theater" contest. biggrin

Yep. Pretty much given up on the Marvel universe now. Guardians of the Galaxy and the first Avengers movie were the last really well-made MCU movies. There is so much filler now, and it's just unnecessary milking of a cow that went dry long ago.

Saw Godzilla Minus One twice and Godzilla X Kong twice. Dune 2 once

I used to see a TON of movies in the theater but once they all became insufferable woke trash I kind of lost interest

"Basic Instinct" came out in 1992 so I'd say 32 years of not going to a movie theater would be extremely hard to beat!
