I know my Dolphins will most likely disappoint me again with their mediocrity but I was quite happy to see that they won their shootout against San Diego yesterday! Maybe this will be a "Shula-worthy" season?

Anyone else here following the NFL?

The Cleveland Browns did me proud yesterday. Slow start (as expected with our QB); but, overall decisive due to very good defense.

Also, looking at QB grades, the couple QBs I like (one underrated) did okay. The much publicized ones I feel are overrated, finished low on the list.

Miami does indeed have a lot of soccer fans due to the large Hispanic community but football is definitely still the more popular sport.

Looking forward to seeing if the Bills can get it done FINALLY this year!
Only 4 hours to kickoff.....

Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty.

Miami is 3-0 now! Woot! The ghost of Don Shula must be overlooking the team.

They absolutely DESTROYED Denver.
Next week Bills - Dolphins should be a good one!

Today's games:

12 PM Pacific AFC Championship Kansas City Chiefs at Baltimore Ravens

I don't like both teams but I think Baltimore will win.

3:30 PM Pacific NFC Championship Detroit Lions at San Francisco 49ers

I don't like Detroit but I think they will win.

Hope "my" 49ers will win NFC West!

I am soooo happy Baltimore choked!!

Lamar Jackson is over-rated, like that basketball player Lebron James.

Detroit screwed up. The game would be tied and into OT if they took the FG instead of going on 4th down.

Seen that many times this season. Teams going on 4th down instead of taking an almost sure FG.

The two teams in the Super Bowl are the two teams I wanted to see there after this weekend.

Lamar showed his "real self". Fantastic runner (who practices all that "bobbing and weaving" to break free -- I give him credit). Mediocre in-play as passer and "passing decision maker". Sunday, it wasn't enough.

Other Sunday performances mostly as expected.

I'm not a fan of "over aggressive" offensive 4th down play calling when failing can cost sure points or improve the opposition's chances too much. Analytics are sometimes "overused" -- and often not applicable to the total on-field-situation.

Well, this is the furthest Detroit has even gotten in the playoffs in a very long time so kudos to them!

I think Sf will win. They want payback to losing to KC 4 years ago in superbowl LIV.

I don't remember the game but I remember the halftime show

I haven't cared for a SB half time show since about 1993.

State Farm is debuting a new series of TV commercials on Super Bowl Sunday.

Here's a teaser:

Go Chiefs! Just don't show Taylor each time the TE catches the ball. We tuned in to watch football and not Taylor.

Close game, and another tough loss for the Niners. Third SB loss on the trot, that's gotta be hard on morale!

The 49ers would had won with the missed extra point and there would be no overtime. Amazing that 1 missed point made that much difference.
