Hi all,
Here's the Hansa-Brandenburg W.12, Serial No.1184 (C3MG) as flown by Fl.Mt. Urban and Lt. Ehrhardt of C-Staffel, Zeebrugge, during December 1917.

As usual, a fully detailed build log, which includes all materials, modifications, rigging etc for this build can be downloaded from the 'Logs' page on my site.

Thanks for your comments and support throughout this build,

Mike

Wonderful work there. Nice build of a rather odd airplane. You’d think that those big wooden and metal wheels would cause so much drag in the water that it couldn’t take off.

Now, about those metal protectors on the propellor blades. We’re they part of he original molding or did you craft those ?

The Brass deflector plates are part of the wood laminated propeller, made by Alexey Belov from 'Proper Plane' in Ukraine,

Mike
