Hi pal, if memory serves, you switch to gunner position and then take autopilot off (ctrl, shift, a).

"A great deal of an aeroplane could be holed without affecting its ability to fly. Wings and fuselage could be—and often were—pierced in 50 places, missing the occupants by inches (blissfully unaware of how close it had come until they returned to base). Then the sailmaker would carefully cover each hole with a square inch of Irish linen frayed at the edges and with a brushful of dope make our aircraft 'serviceable' again within an hour."

Thanks for the reply but that dos not work I tried the Rumpler and Roland I press F10 go to rear gunner the gun works useing the joystick but no movment with the gun tried the joystick mouse and key board gun just still point at the tail.

I know this great sim was made in the last century but why 136 have viewed my post and no one uses the rear gunner.

I must have missed something in the keyboard layout ?

Here's the only thing I ever found on the rear gun. It's a thread from a long time ago that I made a snip of. It really never worked very well for me, I could never seem to get the gun to swivel where I wanted. Just gave up on it. I know there were gunner positions in the original game from Microsoft and I think I remember them working fairly well.

Yes, the rear gun works. In my game I just press F10, this takes me to the gunners seat, and the joystick aims and fires the gun as expected.

Hope you can get yours working.

p.s. Probably not a lot of replies because most people don't jump to the gunners seat ever.

Try posting your question in the Technical Issues forum. You are more likely to get a response from OBD there. In the alternative, find the FAQ manual and look for the link to OBD support. (Ordinarily, I'd be more specific, but my WOFF computer is down at the moment).

My guess is that you may need to adjust the "dead zones" for the joystick when it is controlling the rear gunner position.

Yes you can control the rear gunner. Trackir defaults to use f10 key.. so press shift+f10 instead. Then use your joystick to move the gun.

Some tips on using the gunner too in the WOFF BH&H FAQ,section 42. See the support page on the website for the FAQ.
