I have to say something here.
Why would anyone here want to see that? I have seen a few gruesome things IRL and I know there have been websites that show raw footage of terrible stuff but to post it and basically boast about it really imo has no place here. Simply stating that the event occurred and was witness is terrible in itself and there are plenty of things in the news that I try to avoid. I've witnessed Accidents, seen things I can't unsee and yes I can ignore it but lets all refrain when it comes to death and dismemberment.

I agree. I came across a video on twitter, the other day (scrolling along, they auto play), not knowing how graphic it was. Badly injured Ukrainian soldiers, needing torniquets, begging to be killed. The images and sounds are not meant for entertainment. Not for me anyway.

You don't want to see it, you didn't have to click on the link I posted or you don't want to see it on the big and small screen, don't go to the theater and buy tickets for it and change the channel on your TV.

Also here in this forum I have seen videos of airplanes crashing. Don't those airplanes have people in them and those people died in the crash?

Or the 9/11 thread with videos showing the towers hit by the 2 airliners and then the towers collapsing. Weren't there 1000 of people in those towers?

I intentionally left this thread with the video alone. While I figured we could live without the video, there is not a rule against it. I was curious to see what the community would say about it, if anything.

Clearly, some people don't like seeing that sort of thing here, but as has already been pointed out... nobody made them click upon that link to watch it. One might even wonder why they are reading a thread titled "Tourist eaten alive by shark recorde don video at egypt" if that sort of thing truly bothers them.

Refraining from posting something that is likely to bother a lot of other people in here, is a good idea, and even adviseable in the interest of comity. Refraining from clicking on something that is likely to bother you is even better, as that is directly under your own control.

I have seen muslims execute people by stonings and swords and those are things I can never unsee. The sight of someone losing their life to a shark is simply too much for my eyes and mind to bear, so I choose not to watch, nor even look at photos.

A real soul was lost by an animal at sea, one with feelings, emotions, family and friends. This was not an execution, but an act of nature, but the impact of their death is real upon the lives whom they loved.
