I've had computer problems for the past few days. My c: drive died on me. I had to wait for a new drive. and then there were some issues getting windows working properly. I finally got it going and arma 3 setup again at 6PM today. Hence, no new missions from me for launch day. Sorry guys. At least we have a big library of missions.

Sorry to hear that about your C drive. How long did you have it for? I assume it was an SSD?

Only since October 2021. It was a Samsung 980. Really baffling, as it shouldn't have failed so fast.

Agreed. Definitely looks like you got a bad apple from the batch. A few years ago I had a WD "Black" EIDE hard drive die on me about 6 months after I bought it.

Three new missions for today. If you haven't started Steam lately, there were some mod updates, so you might want to consider starting Steam early to get the downloads over with.

Those new missions last night were great fun, and presented a real challenge -please keep those difficulty settings. Someone said 'we've walked into a hornet's nest' and they were right - I was hugging the earth a lot, with those bullets whizzing past inches above my head!

Also, good that there were six of us again - the more, the better. Thanks to all for a great session.

Indeed they were fun Paul and having 6 players really does make a noticeable difference.

I have a possible new recruit who will try and join us next Monday. He told me he already installed all of the mods and is good to go. He's Canadian too so Prof won't be so unique anymore!

Hi Everyone and thanks for the invite Panzer.

Hoping to join you guys on Mondays going forward. I like ARMA but was looking for a small group I could routinely play with vs bouncing on to random servers and playing with new people every time. I got the mods installed and have the proper DLC. I confirmed I was able to log into TS.

I was getting a few errors opening up ARMA but Panzer said those are the norm and I should be good to go. I think I got my basic key binds all setup. I can shoot and scoot just not sure Ill have all by keys mapped on night one but Ill work to get it all sorted for next week. Hope that's okay?

In game I go by Trichome and Im looking forward to getting back into ARMA. Cheers everyone....

Welcome Trichome.

What kind of errors are you getting? There shouldn't be errors now that NIARMS mods got updated.

Can you screenshot the errors or at least describe what they are? Are they when starting the game, or when joining the server?

Had fun playing tonight. I'll get my key binds tuned up and may need to do some weapon refreshers.
Thanks for having me....

I also attached those errors.

After starting the game from the MOD/DLC menu:
1st is when ARMA is starting
2nd is as soon as the main menu is about to populate

Okay, that's related to the Global Mobilization DLC. Would you please confirm that you have purchased it? If so, please confirm that it is checked. I've attached my DLC list and what's checked/unchecked.

Thanks for showing up Trichome! The missions last night absolutely rocked and having 7 players was awesome. Let's keep this up!

Another enjoyable session. I can't believe I took my suppressor off, but threw away the rifle instead - talk about 'special' forces rolleyes. Trichome, really great to have you along last night. See you all on Monday.

I don't know, man. Those errors look related to Global Mobilization related and how Meatshield makes some modifications to existing mods/DLCs.

I have attached a screenshot of meatshield's edits. Hopefully yours is the same size and date.

I would recommend going onto the server again, and load a mission on Werferlingen or whatever it's called. You should only start one that is a SimHQ mission. The name starts off with SHQ_GM or something like that. If you can load that mission, you're probably fixed and okay.

If that still gives you errors, I would verify your install, making sure there are no corrupted files.

I'm not sure what else to suggest. Maybe Meatshield can suggest something.
