One of the pleasures of working in the 1.6 Italy/Balkan/Ukraine theatre is recognising the occupied countries that fought on, in exile, regardless.

This for example is a Hurricane from one of the three RAF Greek squadrons, manned by fliers of the Royal Hellenic Air Force:

and this is a Spitfire from the RAF Yugoslav Squadrons:

For sure...

I'll add that the camouflage and markings of the MTO/Balkans theater are quite diverse & colourfull (even better than the classic ETO) !

See below one of the classics from Mossi (NAGR recce 109G based in Albania)

There are also a lot of old workhorse planes that changed units and even countries with very tired camo, overpaint, repaint, non-official camos making them quite attractive for a skinner.

By the way, very good city tiles set on your greek hurricane screen capture - Is it HR ? how did you make that ?

Keep on the good work !

Lolo

Hello Lolo!

Can't take the credit for the terrain in picture 1, that's Shawn "sagginb" Griffin's "Euro-512 EAW Terrain v1.0 (L-24 or "Lighter" Tile set-24 bit)" - his "Spring" terrain.

Yes! With the assistance of Iron Mike and Ray Otton, we have been having much fun creating/reviving skins for Yugoslav Partisans, Greece, the Croat regime, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania (both Axis and Allied), and Bulgaria (ditto). Not to say the Italian Co-Beligerents and the Italian Social Republic, and the Brazilian Expeditionary Force!
