Found a little piece of land in the hills to call my own, fenced it off and wired it up to keep out the slackers and thieves. Lake off to one side for fishing, forested areas on the other for hunting. I only venture into the slaughterhouse urban or military areas when i really need supplies like clothes, ammo, batteries, tools, fuel for the gennie etc. Life up here is nice and quiet with small moments of excitement. Caught a guy trying to to get through the fence the other night, jittery type, he isn't around any more..can't trust anyone. At least he had some goodies on him, a new knife, some clothes, fresh shoes and a pistol that needs cleaning up. All quiet out here mostly, just how i like it.
