Having noticed the target and airbase positioning in Moggy's Iraq I could see the possibility of a frontline for some multiplayer fun, so I made one.
There are plenty of cases where there are nearby bases either side of the frontline. This is ideal for ground-started missions.

UAW160 allows you to do anything.
There is nothing to stop you from having a theatre and planesets which are historically correct.
However, if you want to you can fly Pacific planes over the Eastern Mediterranean with a crazy front-line wink

biggrin

Any moment now, I will remember why I set up Sakaka in the Saudi desert.

I know, somewhere in there is a target which is a camel-bandit base. Rutbah and Nuquaib have the desert fort model.

Shaibah is quite a big setup, as is Raschid-Hinaidi

In the folder we use for GameRanger there is a front-line switcher:

[Linked Image]

In the "MoggysMiddleEast" sub-folder there is a "Frontlines" folder with three files in it, IRAQ, IraqMP and Israel.
If one is selected it is copied and pasted into the theatre folder as "frntline.dat".
The multiplayer script-loader can also access this program via the "FL switch" button, and the latest scripts contain information regarding which front-line needs to be loaded.

You made on off-line frontline switcher in 2019, specifically so I could use it to swap in and out the 44 different frontlines DOM made for Attack in the West.

I had forgotten about that wink
I remember making one for Per as part pf the FAWManager program.

I also have a little system with a "frontline.mpf" file.
Single missions are based on four front-lines for 1939, 43, 44 and 45.
Out of the 19 individual front-lines in the default ETO "frntline.dat" file (numbered from zero) the exe uses 0 for 1939, 0 for 1943, 8 for 1944 and 12 for 1945.

Since 1.29, or maybe before, our exes have been able read a "frontline.mpf" file (if one is present) with the four values.

One which reads

12
13
14
15

would make the exe use those frontlines for the four years instead of 0, 0, 8 and 12.

How the script system works.The utility that reads the scripts puts values that it has read in the "eaw.ini" file.
The UAW160 exe reads the "eaw.ini" file to get the values.

============================
[NETOPTION]
Year=2
SkillLevel=0
MissionType=3
BattleSize=0
Weather=2
NoAI=0
StartOnGround=1
AllowRespawn=1
AI_PlaneUpdateRate=350
PlayerPlaneUpdateRate=35
ClockSyncRate=140
Sleep=400
Target=102
FriendlyPrimaryHB=5
FriendlySecondaryHB=5
EnemyPrimaryHB=87
EnemySecondaryHB=87

FriendlySecondaryPL=
EnemyPrimaryPL=
EnemySecondaryPL=
Day=23
============================

The ones in bold print are the critical ones as there is no selection map. The others can be set in mission parameters.
I have never altered the "rates" or the sleep time.

Edit:
This post has been completely re-writtento give a simpler installation with a self-extracing file:

Here is a 7-Zip self-installer to download. Run it in your UAW160 folder and it will add the "IraqMP" file to the "MoggysMiddleEast/Fronlines" folder

I thought that it was in all of the recent releases.
I just made a download anyway. Here is the link:

Run the "FSW.exe" in your UAW160 folder.

It was made for multiplayer games to allow ground-started missions in real time

That one Frontline Switcher i already saw, but since i don't know how to make it work with other frontlines than the MP ones already included (i'm trying to make AttackInTheWest's frontlines work), i was searching for the one Moggy mentioned above, sorry for the confusion.
