Temple of Doom is still 10 times better than that Crystal Skull travesty.

That one and "Heat" are IMHO the greatest films from Michael Mann. Everything about "Last of the Mohicans" is cinematically perfect. I've seen it at least 10 times and will see it again before too long.
Yep. Heat is just a great movie. Cinematography, music, acting, everything.
In all my years I've never seen the like. It has to be more than a hundred sea miles and he brings us up on his tail. That's seamanship, Mr. Pullings. My God, that's seamanship!

I’ve read that the pivotal scene at the restaurant where Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro’s characters first meet is often studied by many acting school students.

Temple of Doom is awesome. Short, fast and to the point. Or at least the film feels this way--which is a great sign that they economized the script and edited the scenes together perfectly to maintain pacing.

It’s been my experience that most people who don’t like Temple of Doom was due to the setting and the villains. I guess they just wanted the same overused and cliche Nazis again.

I didn't like Temple of Doom. Beating the children who were slaved... pulling the heart out... It was Doom that led to creation of the PG-13 rating, wasn't it?
The actress was also written poorly and many thinks the same. Short Round had more courage than she and he is a child.

I am a couple episodes into After Life with Ricky Gervais. Both funny and touching.
I like After Life. Have watched the first two seasons, and they’re a good mix of funny and serious.
