Cease Fire! is a 1953 war movie directed by Owen Crump. The film featured real ammunition and real soldiers that were filmed on location in Korea, and was the first 3D war movie filmed in an actual theatre of operations.

Viewed 4 Indiana Jones. Temple is still bad. I was thinking repeat viewing makes it better. It didn't. Same comment I made 3 years ago about Temple.

But I am ready for #5.

Temple of Doom is still 10 times better than that Crystal Skull travesty.

Yep. Heat is just a great movie. Cinematography, music, acting, everything.

In all my years I've never seen the like. It has to be more than a hundred sea miles and he brings us up on his tail. That's seamanship, Mr. Pullings. My God, that's seamanship!

I’ve read that the pivotal scene at the restaurant where Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro’s characters first meet is often studied by many acting school students.

Temple of Doom is awesome. Short, fast and to the point. Or at least the film feels this way--which is a great sign that they economized the script and edited the scenes together perfectly to maintain pacing.

+1

It’s been my experience that most people who don’t like Temple of Doom was due to the setting and the villains. I guess they just wanted the same overused and cliche Nazis again.

I loved TOD, remember watching the version with the heart removal, scared the crap out of me at time.

Also remember a scene where kids just eating rice and felt awful.

Second best of the series for me.

I'm curious as to what exactly NFB finds bad or wrong with Temple of Doom...

What are your issues with the film, NFB?

The actress was also written poorly and many thinks the same. Short Round had more courage than she and he is a child.

Willie Scott was SUPPOSED to be a vain diva by design.

Not every leading woman in a film needs to be a Sarah Connor or an Ellen Ripley.

I’ll be starting Mandalorian soon but I have no interest in Picard.

I am a couple episodes into After Life with Ricky Gervais. Both funny and touching.

I like After Life. Have watched the first two seasons, and they’re a good mix of funny and serious.

Picard is better this year. No woke stuff they had last year. It feels like Star Trek. Seven is commander on the USS TItan. Beverly still cute.
