I'm enjoying the game but the time compression feature isn't working. Anyone else have this issue?

I've tried changing the key commands and even deleted and reinstalled the game but nothing fixes it. The commands are ignored, nothing happens. What is the possible cause if anyone knows?

I don't have much idea on that it just works.

What keys are you pressing?

Maybe you have another tool/program in the background that is capturing those keys ?

And as far as I remember, they are normally fixed and will not work if you rebind them.

If you do reinstall you would also need to clear out your old keys settings WOFFkeys.xca too.

You could try reset all to default in the latest WOTRKeys program in V1.37. It will wipe your joystick settings too though.

The keys I am pressing are shift+numpadplus and shift+numpadminus. I just did another complete uninstall and reinstall, so none of the keys have been unbound. It's all stock. It's a brand new Alienware computer and WOFF is the only new program installed on it. Still not working.

I can't find a file WOFFkeys.xca. I can see WOFFkeys.exe, and WOFFkeyslog.txt in the toolbox. Where would I find it?

1) Are you talking about time acceleration or the old, now disabled, warp function?

2) On my computer, time acceleration uses the + and - keys just to the right of the row of numbers and symbols below the function keys. I don't think I have ever used the numpad for time acceleration. Just in case, you might try toggling the NumLock key and then trying your keyboard combination again.

3) I have unfortunately turned my computer into a glorified paperweight at the moment, so I can't tell you for sure where the WOFFkeys.xca file is, but you should be able to find it on your computer by typing "WOFFkeys.xca" in the Windows search bar and looking for it in the search results. I believe it should be somewhere in one of the subfolders of your My Documents folder.

1. TIme acceleration, not warp.

2.Thanks BB. Using those keys instead of the numpad keys actually worked. Yay!

3. Never did find the WOFFkeys.xca file. I used the Windows search but it turns up nothing. No matter now, your solution works just fine.

Cheers

Yes indeed it's the keys on the top row, near backspace.

For future ref WOFFKeys.xca is in
C:\Users\<YOUR LOGON NAME HERE>\AppData\Roaming\OBD_Games\OBDWW1 Over Flanders Fields
