Our doctor's surgery has installed a 'Pod' recently for routine stats to be taken, BP, weight, height, BMI.
I used it today for the first time for routine annual old Codger check-up.
tI announced that I was a stone, (14lbs) overweight. I thought it might not let me out again: "Open the Pod door please,"
"I'm afraid I can't do that John, you must stay in here until your BMI reduces to 24"
Mentioned this to the Practice Nurse on emerging who said it was rather harsh, it's all bollocks anyway, and I'm a good weight for my height.
Thank goodness for human intervention.
