Both earthquakes and volcanic eruptions have been occurring with periodic regularity for billions of years. The difference now is that we have about 8 billion people on the planet and we have 24/7 instant news coverage.
Did I cover all my bases with my answer? Are you saying the world is not ending? A science documentary I watched last month said Earth had 5 mass extinction and it's time for another one. I never knew there has been 5. I only knew of the dinosaurs asteroid but before that, there were 4 other ones. Google search https://www.livescience.com/mass-extinction-events-that-shaped-Earth.html

"Is it typical to have so many earthquakes?"
(Proceeds to show data about frequency of earthquakes)
Maybe one day someone will gather up all the data, say over the past ten years, so we can compare numbers to determine if any year is typical or not.

Maybe one day someone will gather up all the data, say over the past ten years, so we can compare numbers to determine if any year is typical or not. That data is already collected and is about 50 per day. (NEIC)
There was only 16 squadrons of RAF fighters that used 100 octane during the BoB. The Fw190A could not fly with the outer cannon removed. There was no Fw190A-8s flying with the JGs in 1945.

That documentary I watched says there is a volcano in USA that will erupt soon and it will destroy everything within 1000 miles. Is that man time or Earth time? Yellowstone's caldera has a volume of 960 cu mi. and is 50 mi x 12 mi

I think this is the volcano
Yellowstone? Rip will kick its ass. Take it to the train station. Problem solved. That data is already collected and is about 50 per day. Oh, man. Yeah, OK, thanks KK. By the way, why couldn't 190s fly with the outer cannon removed? That quote has been troubling me for years. By the way too and also, with all this doom NFB is predicting, I think it will be mole people in the end. They are just biding their time.

Documentary said within 100 years that volcano will erupt and destroy everything.
I think this is the volcano Ancient legend says that one day, on the eve of Yellowstone destruction, the people will find a man named "Joe" and throw him into the fiery inferno to appease the lava within, and thus will close the gaping sore, leaving a dormant scar on the landscape once more.
