Need advice. About to upgrade my pc with a Nvidia GTX 1660 6 gb video card and 32 gig kit of DDR3 RAM. Have a I7 3.8ghz cpu. On a budget ,so would this combo work good enough for BHaH II on high settings ? Any advice would be most welcomed . Regards,Scott

Someone with similar gear would need to chip but you'd certainly be able to run on reasonably med (all on 5 except terrain scenery may need to be lower like 2 - possibly 3 - depending on how you like - better eye candy or better fps). Also perhaps turning down other options and lowering work for the GPU - lower Anti Aliasing etc.

Perhaps if you can run the CPU at 4Ghz. Nvidia 1660 is a bit low these days - I'm not keen on it personally.

Actually if you stretch to the GeForce GTX 1660 Super that's not bad - very fast memory etc and 6GB. Probably best to see if anyone else has a budget card that works well with decent amount of Video memory. CPU raw Ghz speed is important too for WOFF/WOTR.

I have a 1650 Super, and I can run the game on high settings with a fairly consistent 40-50 fps which is fine for me. I think this card is better (and cheaper) than the 1660? But if you can stretch to a 1660 Super I am sure that would be better still. I am no expert on PC hardware, though, so someone else will probably chip in with more information than I can give! I have a i5 cpu, which is not as good as yours, I think, but I like them for the automatic turbo you get without having to fiddle around with overclocking. It is an i5 9400F with a base rate of 2.9, but when turbo kicks in it can go up to 4.1. The cpu is important for WOFF, perhaps more so than gpu.

Just checked, and the 1660 is better, though not a lot in it. You should be fine

I have the 1660 6gb card and a Ryzen 3600 3.6ghz cpu with 16gb system memory. I get between 40-60 fps.on high like Bletchley so I think you'll be right to go ahead and upgrade sixstrings.
