Just some different DCS shots that I thought looked good or interesting. I couldn't find the previous DCS thread, probably because it was so old.

I've been attempting to focus on the F 16 but get easily distracted

Yeah, for me, the A-10A is a quick fix airplane to fly, but now that I just picked up this little jewel, I am starting to focus more on the F-16C

Nice! I was not sure what the first pic was, VR? But I see you picked up a ICP usb controller for the viper

Sorry, I'm not sure which first image you mean, referring to VR. But yes, I picked up the Simgears F-16 ICP. So far, I like it.

Just got the 2.8 update last night, and haven't done much with it yet, but the shadows, lighting and clouds seem improved to me, and the terrain seems to look a little different too.

And I tried to get some unrealistically close-in, Top Gun Movie-style shots using the AIM-9X training mission (and a guns kill).

A few more shots, this time from a mission created by Growling Sidewinder, practicing more with the F-16.

A couple of "beauty" shots:

A near miss by a missile fired from a MiG-29:

And maybe an issue with the game's AI - a MiG-29 was avoiding my AIM-120s and flew into the trees. I checked and both AIM-120s were still in the air, so it seems like a self-inflicted situation:
