Here's hoping that all our members and their families in the US and Canada are safe and well and continue to be so in the present 'Day after Tomorrow' scenario.

Oh that I was back in the dear old PBI.
With no more Triplanes on me tail, nor tracer tracing by.
And no more flames and clickerty-clack and no more blooming sky,
And only a couple of feet to fall whenever I want to die.

No. 56 Squadron Song

brrr, single digits here, and I don't even live in Minnesota (I'm in NJ). A fine time for my furnace to start having intermittent crashes. Of course I went straight to the WOFF FAQ, but oddly enough there's not any mention of a home furnace in there. I get an error code, but there doesn't seem to be any logs for me to look at. I tried reducing terrain settings, looked for any conflicting mods, confirmed that it's not running an AMD CPU, and I still get an occasional crash. It runs ok for a while after a restart which I can handle if I'm home, but it was a bit chilly when I came home from Christmas eve dinner at a friend's house...

But at least WOFF is working, so Merry Christmas!

It's mild in 'Blighty' so my thoughts go to our American cousins across the sea who are freezing. Stay warm, stay safe and here's to a great Christmas for us all.

"A great deal of an aeroplane could be holed without affecting its ability to fly. Wings and fuselage could be—and often were—pierced in 50 places, missing the occupants by inches (blissfully unaware of how close it had come until they returned to base). Then the sailmaker would carefully cover each hole with a square inch of Irish linen frayed at the edges and with a brushful of dope make our aircraft 'serviceable' again within an hour."

Indians lived through winters in tents; we'll be fine. Especially here in Upper Cuba. smile2

Such extreme temp's, especially in the USA and Canada.

Saw on the news last night a village just over the border in Canada. Whole houses frozen white, looked like a small model. Frightening.

And here in Oz typical summer weather, temps in the high 30's. Such contrast.
