Would like to know if being compared to DCS and the IL2-Battle of series. Do I need a beefy GPU like that guy on YT video, what about graphical artifacts like shimmer and jaggies, better worser then in DCS/BoX?

Hey Dutch, that guy on YT is I think the only one testing it with a 4090 😅

Can‘t really comment publicly, but:
It performs well with different cards, just set the preferences accordingly.
Performance is good. Specially with comparable aircraft and object numbers.
It hasn‘t been optimized yet though.

It being a beta there are still some minor glitches to be ironed out. Some seen in the videos have been already. It‘s minor things though, specially related to clouds.

I‘m running 100% resolution with the G2 and turned off anti-aliasing. Can’t remember there being noticeable jaggies or shimmering. What you see in the video is what I see in game.

If you want to test yourself, you can PM Buzzsaw on the official Il-2 forums. You will need Blitz and Tobruk (it only works with both) and a picture of your headset to send him. Atm ATAG has been dow.n for two weeks and Buzzsaw hasn‘t responded to any applicants since early November or so, so it might take a while.
