So to get that impact shot you took the shot and then immediately hit pause/esc to enter photo mode?

Basically, yes, with that shot. I have it set on pause by default in the photo mode settings. With wildlife shots i'll enter photo mode and then pause/unpause and zoom around, up and down looking for the shot i want. Sometimes you need to spook them a tiny bit to get the heads up for the shot.





Using a smaller fov will generally give you a better looking shot in camera mode unless you are trying to capture everything like my first two map shots. The eleventh pic with the hunter aiming the gun is fov nearly all the way in. That 50% camera perk also really helps with bird shots and then unpausing/pausing to get the wings where you want them.

Yep, just grabbed the new map this week, love it! Charging animals is very cool, bow addition is fun and of course, lions and hyenas.




































Getting around 80 to 100+fps on my 5120*1440 G9 monitor, drops down to 60-70 when in direct 12 mode but i haven't done any dlss or such mucking around to fine tune anything.
