It's mild in 'Blighty' so my thoughts go to our American cousins across the sea who are freezing. Stay warm, stay safe and here's to a great Christmas for us all.
"A great deal of an aeroplane could be holed without affecting its ability to fly. Wings and fuselage could be—and often were—pierced in 50 places, missing the occupants by inches (blissfully unaware of how close it had come until they returned to base). Then the sailmaker would carefully cover each hole with a square inch of Irish linen frayed at the edges and with a brushful of dope make our aircraft 'serviceable' again within an hour."

Such extreme temp's, especially in the USA and Canada.
Saw on the news last night a village just over the border in Canada. Whole houses frozen white, looked like a small model. Frightening.
And here in Oz typical summer weather, temps in the high 30's. Such contrast.
