Short version is it improves the 3d model. Adds a bunch of new countermeasures and missile warning systems. Adds wingtip mounts for igla air to air missiles giving you 4 more you can carry. It also adds the inertial navigation system.

'Shark is still the easiest DCS chopper to fly. Put her down nicely on the roof of a hotel yesterday, was like guiding a feather. With all my hours in a Hind this past year, feels nice to return to the true Airwolf of DCS.



I also don't understand what the fuss is about the Huey in DCS, either. I grabbed it in the latest sale and maybe have 20 minutes in the airframe and was able to bring that to the rooftop of a hotel with ease. Hind is the true wild beast of the sim.

It sure is strange flying that thing with little to no rudder inputs...at least compared to the Huey or Apache. Can't comment on the other ones.
