I use only the baked-in Windows Defender in my Win10 installs (also in Win8.1). Win7 on the other hand gets MSE (Microsoft Security Essentials) that still receives updates. Low resource usage and smooth sailing with baked-in antivirus product(s). If you are on a "Pro" (not Home) install of Win10, or 11, might I also recommend the nice little (free) app called "ConfigureDefender" (allows for more fine-tuning of Windows Defender). The link is over here: once there, click on the green "Code" button and choose the pop-up option named "Download ZIP." Cheers,

~ For my various FM/AI/FPS/DM Mods. for First Eagles 2, WoFF, RoF & WoTR, and tips for FlightGear, recommended is to check over my CombatAce profile ( https://combatace.com/profile/86760-vons/) and to click on the "About Me" tab while there. ~

I use the stock Windows Defender, have used it for years without problems, you just have to make sure you keep it updated.
