Hi all,
Sopwith 5F.1 ‘Dolphin’, Serial No: C4131 of No.79 Squadron RAF during June 1918.

As usual there's a fully detailed build log in Adobe PDF format which can be downloaded from my website.
Click on the PDF icon on the 'Logs' page on the website (link in my signature block).

jawdrop

Those wirefasteners on the front of the engine cowling have more detail than some entire models I've seen...

I agree with RSC; those turnbuckles are fabulous.

Always stunning. Do you have any references for your rigging work Sandbagger? I've looked at a few and have no idea what i should be taking on as a newb to WWI kits.

Really amazing, and I love the fabric texture on the fuselage and wings!

Hi Ajay,
I research every model I build beforehand and figure out the structural and control cable rigging.
Most of my models have a build log in Adobe PDF format.
Each build log is a chapterized and details step by step each stage of the build.
A specific chapter for how the aircraft was rigged is included.
Also how I rigged each type of wire.
If you want to you can download any of the build logs by just selecting a PDF on the 'Logs' page of my web site.
Just click on the image link in my signature below,

Mike

Your build logs are as insane as your builds! 150+ pages? That's nuts! In a good way of course
