So, this is not my first TrackIR. I've had a TrackIR3 + Vector Expansion since 2005. And it has been great! But with my new monitor, and computer set up, I figured it was about time for an upgrade. So do I just plug it in and it will pick back up my old Flight profiles? What should I adjust to take advantage of the wider field of view and smoother motion? Do I need to set a high smooth setting like I had been doing?

well not sure how the old profile would work or not b ut try it and see if they have the same extensions I don't see why not and then you could just tweak it from there.. but I would start with new profiles for the flight sims. it is really bnot to hard from what I remeber to make a basic flight profile.. dont forget to get the updated software for trackir..

When I left of they were on trackir 5 software.

Thanks! I had the latest software already - so I just plugged it in and updated the profile a little bit. Works great.
