So, lately I've needed to take to adding curves to my stick axis with the more recent versions of DCS. On my HOTAS Cougar with Uber 2 Nxt gimbals, I already have a curve profile loaded to the stick, but the 1950s-1980s jets are just too "bobby" or "twitchy" for me in-game these days.

How on earth do I tell all axis control assignments for each of my aircraft to use the curve I set in the General axis assignment area? On that note, the same seems to be the case for every control I assign to my stick or combat panels. I have to do it for each aircraft, instead of in the "General" options sections...

Thanks in advance!

ArgonV, sorry, but you have to assign controls for every aircraft even the common ones between them like pitch, yaw, roll ect.
I haven't found a work around or mod for that yet either.

I have a Uber II NXT also and within DCS you must specify curves individually for each aircraft.

-or- within the HOTAS Cougar Control Panel outside of the sim under the "Axis shaping" tab, you can define them individually and build a profile in the application that can be applied to the device whenever you load up DCS. You'll have to manually start the profile each time, but these axis curves you define and save within the control panel will apply to literally everything. This is probably your best option for what you want to do.

I had to set a curve for my rudder pedals because they spike and I use the cougar control panel to do this instead of DCS.

Thank you Mr_Blastman. Indeed I am setting axis curves in my Cougar control panel and applying that profile on startup. This used to be quite succulent - but I've found that the newer versions of DCS have much more sensitive controller axis than before.
