I was in Hamburg, Germany a few weeks ago on conference.
I have to say even then, the US to Euro conversion made things very cheap - even if I wasn't paying! (because business trip expenses were covered).

Greece sea is very blue. I never seen water that blue. Me being an avid student and fan of the military history of the Classical world, Greece is absolutely on my bucket list of countries to visit.

The Euro going below the dollar definitely helps. However, the gas prices here are ridiculous compared to the US. And because of this, everything else is expense. Food, electricity, heat, etc. I just paid 350 Euro for firewood this winter. To put it in perspective, the same amount of wood last year cost 160 Euro. People's gas prices have climbed almost 3,000 percent in some areas. So, while I love the dollar advantage, I would take a higher Euro without the inflation any day of week.

The US dollar is higher than the Euro. That is the only point of this thread. Nobody is traveling anywhere. You need a new hobby.

Don't you buy more in Europe with the dollar than with the Euro? Only recently, not for the last 20 years. 1 USD is worth 1.03 Euro... a c*nt hair. Europe is in the mid of an energy crisis. They rely heavily on Russian oil.
