My D dricve 1GB M2 is almost full now and I have to replace it with a bigger one.
It is a 1TB Samsung M2 drive.
I have DCS and Steam on it and I just started to use additional space on the C drive when I bought RD2.
DCS is at 483 GB now.

So any advice on a bigger M2 would be very welcome.
I think my MB is PCI 3.0 compatible, but I guess newer ones will work on it.

Do you know the speed of that drive?

also talking to yourself on forums sometimes help sort it out so it is ok. I do it alot myself haha!! wink

My son just traded his PS5 to a new Xbox, after trading the new Xbox 5 months ago for the PS5. He's a work in progress...anyway, we put a 1tb PCIE 4.0 M.2 in PS5 as there wasn't enough room for even half of his games..so i scored that for my PC.

So yesterday i cloned my C drive, 465GB, to to the M.2, 21 minutes and i was up and running, played a few games to make sure it was all sweet, opened and edited some raw images just to see how much quicker it is, a lot. Very impressed, and so easy.

I am very happy with the speed.
I am running my PC with only 2 M.2`s now.

I still have my old box. If I need an "ordinary" HD I think I will move them into my new one.
