Another great Godsmack song. For those in pain, it is not forever. 75 million views, that surprised me.
My first Godsmack song, and that was pretty dam good.

Putting our age in perspective: Wife was watching a Reelz show tonight about the life of Redd Foxx which had me do a quick web search. "Sanford and Son" aired 1972–77. Redd Foxx was born 12-9-22, making him only 50 to 55 playing a feeble heart attack proned old man!
Going further down this rabbit hole...
Carroll O'Connor (b. 8-2-24) played Archie Bunker on "All In the Family" from 1971–79 at only age 47 to 55! Jean Stapleton (Edith Bunker) was 1.5 years older so started the series at age 49 at most.
I don't plan on living anything resembling an old man's life for at least another 20 years (my parents are in their mid-80's and still sharp and active, so here's hoping)!
++++++++++
And with that...enjoy Maiden with your son, dude! You're never too old to Rock

Some people just age prematurely. Here's another shocker. Do you know how old Wilford Brimley was in Cocoon where he's playing a retiree at a nursing home? He was the ripe old age of 51.

I'll be listening to Rock music until my dying day. The best part of the concert will be being with my 20 yr old son. I'm glad we are going, the Roger Waters concert was a let down in many ways.
Me and my wife have been watching Sanford and Son, on and off recently. I bought the DVD's. She pointed out Redd Foxx's age at the time as well. The show still holds up well, still funny. I watched a Las Vegas stand up set of his, from back in the day. He smoked every second, I mean he was lighting his next smoke with the butt of his cigarette over and over. Ironic he died of "the big one" at 68.

68 is pretty darn good longevity for any chain smoker. My dad and I watched Sanford & Son when it originally aired in the late 70’s.

Yes, 68 is good for a guy who lived a rough lifestyle. I have heard comedians speak of his last days, he was quite broke, sad. Trying to sell his watch and stuff.

Just looked this info up on him. It seems him being broke was mostly self-inflicted,
According to People magazine, "Foxx reportedly once earned $4 million in a single year, but depleted his fortune with a lavish lifestyle, exacerbated by what he called 'very bad management.'" Contributing to his problems were his divorces. Foxx spent over $150,000 awaiting his divorce from his second wife Betty Jean which included monthly support payments of $10,000 following their separation in 1974.[15] He also was ordered to pay $2,500 a month while awaiting divorce from third wife Joi after their separation in 1979,[16] and then paid her a $300,000 divorce settlement in 1981.[17]
In 1983, he filed for bankruptcy with proceedings continuing at least through 1989.[18] The IRS filed tax liens against Redd Foxx's property for income taxes he owed for the years 1983 to 1986 totaling $755,166.21. On November 28, 1989, the IRS seized his home in Las Vegas and seven vehicles (including a 1927 Model T, a 1975 Panther J72,[19] a 1983 Zimmer, and a Vespa motor scooter) to pay the taxes which by then had grown to $996,630, including penalties and interest. Agents also seized "$12,769 in cash and a dozen guns, including a semiautomatic pistol," among some 300 items in total, reportedly leaving only Foxx's bed.[20][21][22] Foxx stated that the IRS "took my necklace and the ID bracelet off my wrist and the money out of my pocket ... I was treated like I wasn't human at all."[23] It has been reported that at the time of his death in 1991 Foxx owed more than $3.6 million in taxes.[24]

Yeah, Redd Foxx lived a hard and wild life for sure, and making it to 68 wasn't bad, I guess (and as we know he had a heart attack that some thought was a joke playing his Fred role).
I just can't imagine him even in the first year of Sanford and Son (I also have the complete series on DVD) at ~50 getting some impressive treadmill numbers. Lol. I gotta watch the Senior Olympics episode again (vs. an athletic dude fighting for Donna, with Grady [Whitman Mayo...who was incredibly articulate IRL] as his coach). Along with Harlem Nights (also have on DVD) as I didn't realize the history he had with some of the other famous actors in the movie.

EDIT: Clip misses the ending...dude was faking it and smartly salutes Fred with his bad arm as Donna is leading him out the door to take him home to tend to his injury.
