When a player advances time in campaign, and the squadron suddenly has changed to an aircraft that we currently do not have available (not created yet!), WOFF may become stuck in a loop and have and the player needs to kill WOFF from the taskmanager. The journey in that squadron would end anyway, but it will be fixed to do this smoothly and correctly.
Question (and request):
I think this has been asked before, but since you brought it up: would it be possible to enable a "request immediate transfer" button when this occurs, so you don't have to create an entirely new pilot? I understand if this may not be possible, but it doesn't hurt to ask, right?
