Have you seen any of these? Just to be clear these are FINANCIAL flops and not necessarily movies that received poor reviews.

1. Death on the Nile

2. The Northman

3. Ambulance

4. Moonfall

5. The 355

6. Memory

7. Blacklight

I only saw one of them, The Northman. Kind of a shame it bombed. Of the rest, I've heard of three and they didn't interest me. The other three, never heard of 'em.

I've not seen "The Northman" but it's on my watch list. I know it got very good reviews but the fundamental problem seems to be that it had a niche "art house" type subject matter and the studio excessively overspent on making it.

Of those, I only saw Death on the Nile, and my girlfriend and I were going to go to the theater to see it, but then found it was also on HBO and HBO Max, so we just watched it at home. I'm not sure how that impacted its box-office receipts.

I haven't seen any of these, but I haven't been to a movie theater since the pandemic began, either. "The Northman" is on my list to watch, though.

I'm not surprised Chucky and WT. These were all big financial flops so they most likely didn't stay long in movie theaters outside the US.

I suppose it doesn't help that I no longer go to the movies I guess. I'm happier watching something at home in comfort even if it's on a laptop screen.

Wasn't Lightyear a flop?

Been out of the new at the theater movie loop for almost a decade so none of those are or would be familiar to me. The ONLY movies I have seen this year at the theater were Top Gun: Maverick and a Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore.

The jury is still out on that one. It performed much better internationally than in the US so the dust hasn't settled yet on whether or not it lost money.

Yup. Liam had a TWOFER flop for 2022. It was not a good year for him.

Never heard of her but I know the actress. I think I first saw her in Quantum of Solace.
