The Orville ep 9. That was not expected.
To kill a new character who just joined the series this season.

One episode left. BTW several online say this is the final season.

Finally got to these. I remember their commercials and Mom said no. Not for children.

I cannot remember seeing Richard Gere as a bad guy anywhere else.

Westworld season 4, episode 6.

I'm definitely getting a Terminator/Skynet vibe now with this season. Once you see episode 6 you will know what I mean.

Wrath of Man, dumb action movie by Guy Ritchie starring Jason Statham. Basic plot is an over qualified man starts a new job as a guard for an armored truck company. He manages to stop a couple robberies of the truck's he's on.
It's not bad, has a neat premise and a couple good action scenes.

What it's actually about is this guy is a big shot criminal who's kid gets shot and killed during a robbery of an armored truck. He can't find who was responsible, and believe me, he tries. He figures it's an inside job. So, he goes to work for the company to find the insider and get vengeance on those responsible for killing his kid.

Has Jason Statham ever done a non-action movie role? I don't think so. LOL

If he did, would you even want to see it?

Possibly if it was some kind of science fiction or historical drama. I just find it funny how he's been typecast to the nth degree.

Congo, about two Norwegians' misadventures. Actually I've not finished it yet, it is a bit disturbing to watch. imdb

This is the "Congo" I'm familiar with. I'm sure the premise is radically different from the one you are watching. biggrin

LOL PM!

A lot of movies exist concerning Congo. The documentary A journey to the heart of... I found very interesting. My interest in the subject dates from reading books about mercenary campaigns in the sixties and seventies, notably Mike Hoare's Mercenary, and Firepower by Dave Tomklns and Chris Dempster

Orville. The season final episode. It's horrible. Just like this season first episode: 3 years of development from FOX to HULU and they made that awful first episode. 10 episodes this season and only 4 were decent. If Orville doesn't get renewed, I won't be crying.

Just watch 20 minutes of Prey and turn it off. https://SimHQ.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/4601277/re-the-movies-coming-soon-thread#Post4601277

It's very very not good! I see why it's on HULU and not in the cinemas.

This has more to do with economics than any sort of quality. The previous Predator film from 2018 lost a significant amount of money at the box office. It didn't surprise me at all that the studio went the low budget route this time around.

The Bombardment. Ironically on topic with current PWEC discussions.

This is like a Eli Roth film: unwarranted gratuitous barbarity.

Now you need to watch the original Scarface from 1932. I guarantee you it's not as graphic. wink

Also it was sick. He was in love with his sister. At the end where she came into his office. Sick!

This Scarface? I will watch it tonight. I HEART Amazon Prime. So many free movies!
