Grease came out when I was 10, and I thought she was...knew she was gorgeous.

She certainly caught my attention back then! RIP.

Loved her music. Loved “Grease”. Had a big crush on her.

It says she battled breast cancer for 30 years.

Wife got a phone news alert...and we're fans.
As with many of you, an early crush. RIP.

WIKI:

Quote
Due to an editing error, a closing scene in which Danny and Sandy kiss was removed from the finished print and lost before its theatrical release. The scene was preserved only in black-and-white; Kleiser (the DIRECTOR) attempted to have the existing footage colorized and restored to the film for the film's re-release in 1998 but was dissatisfied with the results. The scene is included as an extra on the 40th anniversary home video release, and Kleiser hopes to make another attempt at colorizing the footage that is effective enough for the footage to be inserted into the film as he originally intended by the time the film's 50th anniversary comes in 2028

Someone in the edit room fell asleep to cut the ending out of the film. HERE it is:

Interesting NFB, I'll have to check that out later (probably going to be a Grease/Xanadu double feature Friday night).

Usually need something stronger for yard work, but going to do some favorite ON-J this evening (her early stuff sounds more Country/Carpenters)...

I always thought she was my generations Doris Day. RIP. She seemed like a very sweet lady.

But when we disarmed They sold us and delivered us bound to our foe,

First Judith Durham, now Olivia.
Two of the cutest Australian singers gone in the same week.

Not often that I'm surprised when it comes to our collection of music/concerts, but I told my wife about my ON-J movie plans and she said she can do better...

A "hippie dinner" and a concert (and I'll always take a concert over a movie)...

EDIT: Peaked into wife's concert DVD and I'm going to really enjoy this...

This is in 2002. Incredible they still remember how to sing the songs.

I hadn’t heard that Judith Durham died this week. She was one of my favorites.

Olivia Newton John was an early crush of mine. I got the album right after seeing Grease.
Rest in Peace.
