Seems like a long time since he has posted. Hope he is still lurking about!

Last login was also Feb. 11 - hope Lou is doing well, as well as other WoFFers who haven't posted in several months, such as dukeironhand, albrechtkaseltzer, Fullofit, and others. Usually the summer months give sleepier threads on SimHQ and CombatAce. B_Beard, for example, as far as I remember, doesn't fly in the summer because it gets awfully hot then in southern Cali. (I remember a post along those lines from a couple of yrs. ago). I am assuming that there will be more posts by the fall (the DiD IV thread is also somewhat sleepy currently - many thanks to Raine for keeping it active and for the excellent tales posted there). I've been busy with work and some FE2 FM modding in the meantime.
Cheers all, Von S

~ For my various FM/AI/FPS/DM Mods. for First Eagles 2, WoFF, RoF & WoTR, and tips for FlightGear, recommended is to check over my CombatAce profile (https://combatace.com/profile/86760-vons/) and to click on the "About Me" tab while there. ~

I'm still here, I just don't post much. And, it's upstate California, a couple hours north of Sacramento at 70+mph, lol. By the way, the temp here is currently 100F working on its way to 106 and it will stay over 100 for the next couple of weeks which is normal here and to be expected.
Other than that I have BHAH II, and am enjoying it immensely.

It's hitting around 104 here in parts of the UK. That is not usual for us

I still lurk around. Get a few missions in a week between work, girlfriend and my D&D hobby. My D&D Facebook group has exploded to over 31k members and now I am working with some of the largest terrain and mini manufacturers on various projects. Not much time left for videos and posting here but I still love flying early war missions in my Alb DII or late war missions in my Sopwith Bentley. Feels good to bag a kill...or escape with my life.

It certainly isn't. Record breaking and making me glad I essentially work in a fridge. My wife doesn't and I am concerned for her. Happily it should be a bit more normal on Wednesday.
I've sent Lou an email to see if he replies to that. We all have other things pulling at us (usually RL, naturally) but I do hope everyone is fine and well.
DiD IV has been suffering a bit under the weather. Spring 1916 was pretty much rained off. This should pick up now the Somme offensive is on.

Thanks for the concern folks and my apologies for not posting in a while. I've been on a WOFF sabbatical as I've been working on the house here, as well as taking care of my mom, (who turned 95 in April). Also been having fun with the grandkids; and have managed to sneak in a weekend getaway or two, or three. I hope all is well with everyone here and the summer is proving enjoyable, albeit hot. When fall rolls around I am planning to get back to the not-so-friendly skies of virtual 1914-1918.
And Hellshade, that is some serious D&D right there!
Cheers everyone, watch your six!

Great to hear from you Steve and that all is well, as it should be!

Good to hear your ok Lou (Steve). Lord knows we all need a break from our hobbies now and then, except Hellshade... Jeeze man!!.. wow! That's a long way from a DM blinder and reading passages from a book!!!
At any rate, same here...I've been away from my desk for months now. I was recalled back to my Engineering job with BA and have been working like a dog for months. LHR is a mess and it's causing all kinds of issues downstream, even at JFK.
Hope everyone is doing well. At some point, I'd like to get some flying in as well and finish the Pfalz D.IIIa remake. But I doubt it will be before the fall. Too hot on my 2nd floor.
For my mates in the UK...stay hydrated boys!

Steve! Thank God! I thought the badger had stolen your Ceremonial Robes and usurped you from the position of president and founder of the B.O.C. A fate worse than death if I may be permitted to say so.
