I installed Windows 11 yesterday morning and it went without a hitch, between downloading, checking files and installation (& computer restart) it took less than and hour.

I looked it over checked this and that and the other thing and figured I could get used to it.
I even ran BHAH II without a hitch with no real loss of speed in the quick combat mission I ran. That was the last time it worked, I have uninstalled, re-installed, cleared cashes and even went as far as to delete any file on the C drive that was related to WOFF, to include the stuff in the Users folder.

When preparing a packet for OBD boys, I noticed an oddity, there is no longer and outcomes.xml file in the AppData/roaming folder. It did say that was not found in the dialog box that came up after the mission failed to load. So I took one of the xml files in that folder, copied it and renamed outcomes.xml (I figured if it didn't work I could do another re-install). Guess what? It of course didn't work, got the same dialog box saying it was missing. So I went back to check and the folder I made was gone.

I think Windows 11 is erasing the outcomes.xml for some reason and that causes the mission to not load.

Sounds more like the old admin rights issue that Windows 10 was good at randomly..
if you can set cfs3.exe and woff.exe to run as an administrator in properties of each, compatibility tab.
(assuming they have not removed that yet).

OK, I did the above, still no go, no Outcomes.xml. When I hit the CFS3.exe (run as administrator) it said it is unable to load EULA.

OK don't run CFS3.exe direct.

Try setting compatibility for cfs3.exe to Windows 7. Try that and let me know (may only be needed on cfs3.exe but also try on WOFF.exe if no go).

We don't have Windows 11 yet to try - we recommend holding off on Windows 11 until we can test it here.

I think I'll wait for Windows 13.

If you do, make sure you install it on a Friday!

I'm having some problems and was thinking about doing a re-install. Figured I might as well get Windows 11 and make a real mess of it all at once.

I haven't read any more about problems with Windows 11 and the Sim. Are we still holding off getting the W.11 or are the issues resolved by this time?

Wow this was from some time back. I run Windows 11 currently - now they have fixed some earlier file explorer issues it mostly works well for me, and WOFF and WOTR run fine. Of course as always with Windows - your mileage may vary.

Just for General information, since I know everyone has been waiting with baited breath:

Fresh install from my backup worked just fine with Windows 11, actually the best , most problem free install I've had. No hitches at all.

Another piece of unasked for info: I stored the zip download from back in June 21 in my Dropbox account. Wasn't sure if that would affect it, apparently not.
