Cheating on math test. What he saying?

I think most girls who say they have a boyfriend do not have one.

That's the answer most the girls give when someone ask them out: I have a boyfriend.

The ones that don't say they have a boyfriend, they have a girlfriend.

She asked, 'what?'
He said something like, 'we both have something on which to cheat'

Yes I get that I have a boyfriend a lot. Also you are sweet/nice or we are just friends.

You should act all excited and tell them you got one too. I mean it's not like you're going to get anywhere with them so you might as well have fun and enjoy the confused look on their face.

My first HS (smaller of the two), cute skinny chicks (being my type) were a dime a dozen, and I chased them all to some degree. I received nothing but flat out rejections except for this crazy one, but nothing panned out (thankfully).

My second HS (switched middle of 11th grade) was very slim pickings for my type, but I found the one almost immediately. Got her name, wrote her a letter and received a written rejection, something about too much studying and work to think about dating, blah blah blah. I still have the rejection letter with many others in my closet.

Anyway, I asked if I could sit with her at lunch while she studied and she said sure with a semi-courtesy smile. Did this for a couple of weeks I think (trying to bore me away?), just sitting there with this girl I liked who paid me no attention whatsoever, but hadn't yet asked me to leave her alone (which I would have done, no problem). Then one night I see her in a theater lobby and BAM! she actually starts talking to me. What happened?! I dunno, but mentally I was pretty much married at that moment (I just knew).

I think it was the $15.00 (in 1984) Drug Emporium Chaps that did it for me, so wear some decent cologne, NFB! And don't give up unless she flat out tells you to get lost!

My friend said that they usually don't have a BF and are testing you to see if you are persistent and will fight for their attention or run.

Be careful. Now days being "persistent" can be seen as creepy or even stalking. All I can say is, be a gentleman, be yourself, and keep your head up.

I never visited Hooters. I don't like chicken wings and spicy stuff.

Times indeed do change. I distinctly remember back in the 80's and 90's several women telling me that they want to make the guy "work for it" if they are interested in them. They want to see just how interested the guy is so they intentionally play hard to get.

Ah common, it's not that hard, you can see it in their eyes...

Yeah, a reaction video *shudder* But it is the only version I found, which has the translated lyrics over the original video...
To a song from '86, very much on subject and super-controversial back in the days, basically not played on German TV or radio, and yet making number one in the sales charts.

I verified my above story this morning (closing in on 40 years) and the non-interest went on for more like a month vs. two weeks. It wasn't an intentional test or anything, just keeping her same dedicated routine but with a new guy hanging around who seemed determined to wait it out. Always laser focused on schoolwork, but I can't help but feel somewhat responsible for the rare B in Trigonometry. If so, at least she didn't leave me for it and it all worked out in the end.

Glad we came of age pre-internet.

A buddy said:

Girls who have a bf don't tell you that they have a bf until way way later. That's almost like their emergency eject button. If they tell you right away, they don't like you.

Girls will cheat on their bf. They play just as much as guys do.

and he sent this, told me to read it

NFB, I read that link... <facepalm>

Now, this is coming from an older dude who is beginning to contemplate his own mortality and the things he's done in life good and bad. Find God (maybe one day I'll take my own advice) and find a good woman with morals who thinks the same.

It's very dated, but this is the kind of chick you should be seeking... smile

Hehe. Of course I was thinking more about the beginning lyrics than the actual girl in the video, but good find. smile

They were much bigger in Europe than in the US.

Indeed. "Rock me Amadeus" is Falco's most successful song, and still to this date the one and only (mostly) German-speaking song, that managed to reach #1 in the US charts. Yet, thinking of his legacy (he died in 1998 at the age of 40) over here, " Jeanny (part 1)" is nowadays probably his more important/popular song, despite or because of the controversial content!?
