Hello all. I've been on hiatus for awhile. When I get some time I am going to take to the skies. I was wondering if anyone has a link to the last update for PE? I would love to upgrade to newest version but my GPU will not handle it and unfortunately and am not able to upgrade at this time. Thanks in advance.



P.S My current version is PE 5.04-4247

Normally you would just go to the overflandersfields website and go to downloads, and choose WOFF PE on the pull down menu to get to the latest download.

However V5.04 is the latest for PE.

WOFF BH&H II is the latest version of WOFF itself of course, and well worth it over PE. The current update for that is V1.31.
If your GPU handles PE I am sure it will handle BH&H II.

Thanks for the reply. my current system is Fx 8350 cpu Gtx 660 with 2 gb ram 16 gb ddr 3 ram and ssd. Would this still run BH&H at decent fps?

I found BH&H2 improved FPS.

@OP, considering that your CPU is around 4 GHz, you should be fine with ave. FPS in BH&H2. Generally speaking, BH&H2 throws less aircraft up in the air than the UE/PE vers. of WoFF - so feel free to run BH&H2 at "medium" congestion/air activity settings for most of the war - and your FPS should for the most part stay around the 60-70 FPS range. No need to fly with light or very light flight activity settings, as was sometimes recommended for UE/PE WoFF.**

** NOTE: loading any of the various water mods. (in unmodified format) by Xjouve will drop FPS on ave. by about a value of 10-15. If interested in running the water mods. - see my casual campaigns thread (can't remember the specific page no. of that thread now) - there is a post there (somewhere around the middle of that long thread) which gives directions for how to create a "lite version" of the 1.1 total water mod. by Xjouve, to help with FPS.

The GPU is low, but as the guys say CPU is the most important generally (although a good amount of GPU memory helps). As I say if PE runs OK, then BH&H II should.
