I did not see it at cinema. It's one of first movies we watch on our first DVD player in 1998 and it was my first time seeing it. I think the other movie Dad got with our first DVD player was Twister.

How old were you in 1989? That might explain why.

Michael Keaton is the best cinema Batman by far. Nobody else comes close.

He makes an excellent Bruce Wayne but IMHO Christian Bale was more convincing as Batman.

"Commando" is definitely one of Arnold's mostly forgotten movies. It's right up there with "Red Heat" in that sense.

30 years ago, October 8, 1993.

This is the first time I saw anything with Sylvester, Sandra and Wesley.

I thought Sandra was the cutest thing I ever seen.

Looking at Sandra's IMDB, https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000113/ she did The Vanishing and The Thing Called Love before Demolition Man, then Fire On The Amazon and Wrestling Ernest Hemingway after Demolition Man, before Speed.

Speed was the 2nd time I saw Sandra in a movie. So she wasn't famous yet when she did Demolition Man. Speed is the movie that made her a box office star.

Mom got mad at Dad for taking us to see a violent R movie.

I was 21 years old when that movie came out. Sigh.

When I think 1993, the first movie that comes to mind is Jurassic Park. I ended up watching that three times in the theater.

Lea Thompson and Michael J Fox are close to being that old now in reality.

Never saw Predator 2 in the theater but I bought it on DVD sometime in the early 2000's so I've seen it several times. At the time of release in 1990 it was trashed by most critics. The movie certainly has some cheesy parts but I think other aspects worked well such as Bill Paxton's performance and getting to see the inside of the Predator ship as well as seeing more of the Predator's arsenal (combi-stick and disc).

I've not seen Rocky movies. I don't like boxing.

Rocky IV is FULL of typical 80's cheese but it has a lot of memorable quotes.

It's on Amazon Prime but it's not free for Prime members, $3.49 to rent it for 48 hrs streaming.

I'd say that's a good deal. That's cheaper than buying it on DVD.
