I haven't been to Toronto since the mid 90's. I've heard about the horrific traffic. The older I get, the more I hate driving in big cities.
Chicago recently bumped Toronto from the 4th largest city in North America. With it being a Canadian city, I don't think many people realize how big it is. Travelling east into Toronto, The CN Tower is practically being blocked from vision.

I was in a crowd of 17,000, 2 nights in a row. Nice Covid-19 experiment. I'd say less tha 1% masked. I'm double vaxxed, last shot in August 2021. So 11 months. My Canaduan dictator says I need one evert 9 months, and should be triple vaxxed now.
I have to say there was WAY too much of Roger's opinions last night. Right from the first second. Here is the start of the show in Pittsburgh from Wed. He played too much solo material for my liking. The presentation was spectacular as always, but there was no let up of political and personal opinions. Oddly Roger seems fine with calling Christian beliefs "b*llshit", yet does not target any other religion. That did not sit well with me. I preferred when he focused more on the music. He did not target our dictator Prime Minister, but he went after every US President from Reagan on. One vague visual mention of Putin. Honestly, I looked forward to these shows for so long, 15 months, I'm not excited to go tonight, and I should be. It will be fun to see my son experience it though. I could look past his views in past tours, because they were not shoved down your throat for 2 and a half hours straight. If you are an American patriot, stay away. It will just piss you off....despite the classic Floyd tunes.
It would have taken real balls to say this BEFORE people spent $600 for a pair of tickets, 15 months ago. I have no doubt this pre concert message will hurt his ticket sales, especially in the US. I for one go for the music, not to be told how to think. I expect some political crap from Roger, but not pedal to the metal before the show even starts.
I'm the same with traffic, one reason I stopped going to arena concerts in New Orleans (ending with Rush's last tour I think, or was it Billy Joel?). We might still do an occasional small local venue but even then, not like we did in our 40's to pre-pandemic. Also glad I visited NYC (twice) because it's likely never happening again.
The rusty wire that holds the cork that keeps the anger in Gives way and suddenly it’s day again The sun is in the east Even though the day is done Two suns in the sunset, hmph Could be the human race is run
